FLOWER BEAUTY BLUSH BOMB REVIEW

In today's post I'm going to be sharing a review on one of my new favorite products, Flower Beauty's Blush Bomb! Enjoy!


Flower Beauty has been one of my all-time favorite makeup brands for a long time and I was so excited when they released this product a few months ago. I love cream and liquid highlighters, but I've never used a liquid blush like this before, so it did take some time for me to figure out how it works best for me. 

This product is very pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. I typically don't use much more than a pea sized amount. I often end up applying too much of it, so if this happens to you, I recommend putting few dots of your concealer or foundation over top of it to tone down the color. Even though it has intense color payoff, this product wont stain your skin and washes off easily at the end of the day. This product would be perfect for both oily and dry skin, because it is long-lasting, but also doesn't accentuate any dryness. 

There are 6 shades available ranging from a light neutral shade to a bright berry. It will definitely be able to suit a variety of skin tones because of how they have high pigmentation, but are also buildable and natural-looking at the same time. I have the shade "Bitten" which in the tube looks like it would be way too dark for my pale skin tone, but it blends out nicely to be a bright, yet natural, flush on the cheeks.

My preferred application method is using a brush (I love to use a mini Flower Beauty blush brush that I got as a free gift with purchase). I put a dot of the product on the back of my hand and stipple it on my cheeks with the brush. I find that I'm able to control the placement and concentration of the product much better when I apply it this way. You can use just your fingers to apply this too, but I find that to be more difficult to get a natural and blended look out of it. I don't use makeup sponges, but I'm sure it would also work well to apply this product.

This is definitely now on my list of favorite products I've tried from Flower Beauty and I highly recommend trying it if you're interested! It retails for $9.99 at Ulta, but there is often a sale on their products, so be sure to keep an eye out for that if you're planning to buy it. Tragic Kingdom is the hit breakthrough album by  No Doubt , released in 1995 to widespread critical acclaim. Blending a mix of pop, punk, rock and ska, it was a groundbreaking album for the music landscape of the mid-90's and instantly became a timeless classic. It was the band's third album together, which differed quite a bit from their first two lesser-known records, partly because of the interpersonal drama within the lives of the members at the time. When all is said and done, you'll believe God is a Woman!  I absolutely love all of the  fragrances   Ariana Grande  has released over the years, so when I found out that she was coming out with another I was so excited! Her song " God is a Woman " is also so iconic and one of my all-time favorites, so that made me look forward to it even more. SAFIYA NYGAARD x COLOURPOP COLLECTION REVIEW 🦇♥

For my first post of  the new year, I wanted to share my thoughts on one of my favorite makeup releases, the Safiya Nygaard x Colourpop collection ! Safiya is one of my favorite YouTubers and Colourpop is my favorite makeup brand, so this is a really exciting collaboration!  Safiya consistently makes a variety of really high quality and interesting videos that mainly focus on beauty and fashion. I admire how much time and research she puts into what she does, all of the work that is put into these videos really shows in the finished product. If you haven't watched her channel before, I really can't recommend it enough!  In August 2017, she started a series called " bad makeup science ", which is the basis of this new Colourpop lipstick collection. Deeper Well by Kacey Musgraves // Album Review

Deeper Well  by Kacey Musgraves sounds like the first blossoming of spring after a long, cold winter. An aspect that shines the most within this music is her talent for sweet and simple songwriting. Every song is very rooted in nature and uses vivid imagery to paint such a stunning, honest and reflective portrait of this current phase of her life. The production is very stripped-back on most of these tracks, with the focus mainly on her vocals and lyricism. This is among her most introspective work yet, chronicling her inner-most thoughts and emotions from where she last left off in 2021 with  star-crossed . She worked on this album primarily in New York City at Electric Lady Studios , which is an environment that played into her wanting to make a softer, more subdued album this time.
